AHO Reminds Holocaust Survivor of His Experiences in Camps

5.0 out of 5 stars I love his children, December 31, 2014
I read “A Hebraic Obsession” and am thankful to the author for bringing it to light. This book reminds me of my life in the concentration camps and what I went through in those years.
We the survivors and friends sometimes come together for discussions. At one of our gatherings, friends who were together with Dr. Laitner in the concentration camp stated that they survived because of him.
Dr. Laitner was in many camps and tried to save as many lives as possible. My friend’s wife told us of the time she was sick with typhoid and he took care of her until she fully recovered.
On a celebration of Hanukkah some 600 Holocaust Survivors attended, and as the name of Dr. Laitner was mentioned by the speaker, all of the participants got up in his honor and applauded.
I am proud of being Wolf Laitner’s friend and brother-in-law for so many years, and I miss him very much. I love his children, Morton and Barbara and I am proud to be their uncle.
Morton I am proud of you!
