“We Need Rent Money” called an Exceptional Achievement

Never in my wildest dreams did I think a film selection committee would call Blake’s movie, “We Need Rent Money,” an exceptional achievement.

Yes, a classic comedy.

Yes, a cult film.

Yes, the best stoner feature film of 2022.

But no, not an exceptional achievement.

Curing cancer, landing a man or woman on the Mars, discovering a diet that actually works—those are exceptional achievements.

But it did happen!

And I have the proof.

Just read the email Multi Dimension Independent Film Festival sent Blake:

We are overwhelmed to announce that your project has been selected as an “EXCEPTIONAL ACHIEVEMENT” by our esteemed Film Festival Selection Committee for the August season of Multi Dimension Independent Film Festival!

Exceptional Achievement is an add-on award in our festival! The Exceptional Achievement Award is at par with the Award Winner Award at our festival.

Our Film Festival Selection Committee loved your project, so they could not resist awarding you with this!

Did you hear that? They loved “WNRM.”

We extend our heartiest congratulations to the entire team!

You have been amazing!

Did you hear that?

Blake, his team, and the movie are amazing.

You can now proudly share your win on your preferred media, and do not forget to tag us on our social media!

You can now share your achievement on IMDb.

We would love to be a part of your celebration!

Did you hear that?

They want to celebrate with us.

Well, MDIFF you’re invited to join us on Zoom

And take part in our celebration.

 Here’s our celebration plan:

In your honor, we are going to bake a chocolate cake and covered it in white frosting.

And on that frosting, we’ll write in red:

“Thanks MDIFF for the Exceptional Praise and Prize”

Then we’ll fill our champagne glasses with Prosecco, and toast you by saying:

“Thanks MDIFF for teaching us to think multi dimensionally.”

Then we’ll eat and drink and have a merry time.

Well, that’s our plan.

Thanks again for your very kind words.

WNRM Selected by A Multi-Dimensional Film Festival

Published Post author

Well some more good news for Blake and “We Need Rent Money.”

WNRM was selected to be part of the Multi Dimension Independent Film Festival (MDIFF).

This festival has cred, it’s an IMDb verified film festival.

And it has a great Suzy Kassem quote:

“We are all part of the same rainbow. We are all reflections of each other. As unique and diverse as we are in character and skills, the source of all creation is as multidimensional as we are.”
― Suzy Kassem, Rise Up and Salute the Sun: The Writings of Suzy Kassem

And it has some admirable goals:

“The aim of the Multi Dimension Independent Film Festival (MDIFF) is to support the maximum number of independent filmmakers and encourage them to think in a multi-dimensional way.

We encourage multi-dimensional thinking in filmmaking!”

And it has some great advice for the independent film makers:

“Independent filmmaking has always been there. Independent filmmaking gives the freedom to think, and invent films in your very own way: That’s the beauty of it.

It’s like making your own outfit for the gala.

You’re boundless while making your own film.”

Well, thanks Multi Dimention International Film Festival for having selected our movie.

And as a one-dimensional writer, I’ve got to admit, I’m quite impressed by anything that is multi-dimentional whether it be thinking, film making or the source of all creation.
