Well We Didn’t Win, But—by Mort Laitner

I love getting emails with positive results; I hate losing.

But as in life, sometimes a message has a bit of both.

So when the results of the Top Indie Film Awards arrived I was saddened by the news that Blake’s video didn’t win the Best Music Video Award.

But I was overjoyed by the news that the video’s editor, Desmond Elias Ford, aka DEF Davyne, of “Know About Us” fame had been nominated for best editing of a music video and was awarded a set of laurels.

Congrats Desmond for your nomination.

And as the old saw goes ,” You win some and you lose some. And if you’re lucky, you get some.

I love seeing emails, especially when they start with the word, “Congratulations!”

Then I watched the preview (click on below) of all of the movies that will be shown on December 12th and realized what an honor it is to be included with this group of movies.
