Never in my wildest dreams did I think a film selection committee would call Blake’s movie, “We Need Rent Money,” an exceptional achievement.

Yes, a classic comedy.

Yes, a cult film.

Yes, the best stoner feature film of 2022.

But no, not an exceptional achievement.

Curing cancer, landing a man or woman on the Mars, discovering a diet that actually works—those are exceptional achievements.

But it did happen!

And I have the proof.

Just read the email Multi Dimension Independent Film Festival sent Blake:

We are overwhelmed to announce that your project has been selected as an “EXCEPTIONAL ACHIEVEMENT” by our esteemed Film Festival Selection Committee for the August season of Multi Dimension Independent Film Festival!

Exceptional Achievement is an add-on award in our festival! The Exceptional Achievement Award is at par with the Award Winner Award at our festival.

Our Film Festival Selection Committee loved your project, so they could not resist awarding you with this!

Did you hear that? They loved “WNRM.”

We extend our heartiest congratulations to the entire team!

You have been amazing!

Did you hear that?

You can now proudly share your win on your preferred media, and do not forget to tag us on our social media!

You can now share your achievement on IMDb.

We would love to be a part of your celebration!

Did you hear that?

They want to celebrate with us.

Well, MDIFF you’re invited to join us on Zoom

And take part in our celebration.

 Here’s our celebration plan:

In your honor, we are going to bake a chocolate cake and covered it in white frosting.

And on that frosting, we’ll write in red:

“Thanks MDIFF for the Exceptional Praise and Prize”

Then we’ll fill our champagne glasses with Prosecco, and toast you by saying:

“Thanks MDIFF for teaching us to think multi dimensionally.”

Then we’ll eat and drink and have a merry time.

Well, that’s our plan.

Thanks again for your very kind words.
