Yes, this NYC festival selected, Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure and procreation for their namesake.
Yes, the festival’s mission is to discover high quality films, to promote filmmakers’ works and to help them realize their dreams and to recognize videos and celebrate the finest independent cinema the world has to offer while helping to advance the careers of promising filmmakers by providing a platform through which their talents can be recognized.
Yes, this makes three honors in three venues. (Australia, Tampa and now NYC) for “Know About Us.”
Congratulations to Blake and his team, Michael Blackman, Def Davyne and LoLoRae, on this win and good luck on moving up to the finals.
