Well, when I think about Belgrade and Serbia, these are the things that come to mind:
- The city is the capital of Serbia and is situated on the Danube River.
- It’s the home of Nikola Tesla. Yes, they do have a museum in his honor.
- A Serb assassinated an Austrian archduke and World War 1 started.
- Tito and his Yugoslavian soldiers battling the Nazis.
Now, when I think of Serbia, I’ll remember our first European win.
Thanks, 1st Monthly Film Festival for the honor, and congratulations to Blake and his team for sharing their vision, and gaining their well-deserved recognition.
