Nuestra Fiesta De Quince Anos—“The Stairs” Finalist—Wins #15

NUESTRO FIESTA DE QUINCE AÑOS

central-michigan

It seems like only yesterday that “The Stairs” had its Bar Mitzvah win. On that day the film became a man. Well, today we are having a fiesta for our 15th win. Time for our movie to put on its quince white gown and pink high heels as our film transitions from childhood to  young womanhood. This is a rite of passage. Our film is now a debutant. Time to dance, eat cake, (the cake with the 15 candles on it) and party.

“The Stairs” is a “finalist” in the Central Michigan International Film Festival. This is our first win in the state of Michigan. (Go Blue)

The Central Michigan University School of Broadcast and Cinematic Arts presents their festival in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.  Mount Pleasant is home to the Sanilac Petroglyphs. The festival will take place on February 10-12 and 17-19, 2017.

CMIFF is fourteen (14) years old—next year they can celebrate their quince. Thank you Mark Poindexter, Director of the festival for our acceptance. I love your logo–a film reel in a globe holder—very international and creative.
