As a New Year resolution, giving thanks to those who have helped or honored you is an easy resolution to keep. Here are some folks who deserve some of my thanks:

Congratulations to Mort Laitner, winner of  two Tales2Inspire awards: ‘Chocolates Filled With Music’ (The Crystal Collection) and ‘The Hanukkah Bunny’ (The Garnet Collection), whose film, “The Stairs”, has now been accepted in seven countries: Spain, South Africa, Slovakia, Canada, Israel, India and the United States. This film is about a ten-year old boy who hides at the top of a stairwell listening to his father tell the harrowing story of almost being gassed to death in a Nazi concentration

    Mort, we are enjoying all you do so very much. It was great to be at the film festival in Palm Coast.
    Wish that students would read “A Hebraic Obsession”, when they are young. If more people would read this might be a better and gentler world.
